Sabrina Walch received her bachelor's degree in music performance in 2020 from New York University, where she studied bassoon with Marc Goldberg and took secondary lessons on clarinet, flute, oboe, and saxophone. While pursuing her music studies, she started working at Evans bassoon and shortly thereafter began studying clarinet repair with Mark Jacobi. In 2022, Sabrina spent three months in Germany working and further honing her bassoon repair skills under the tutelage of the master craftsman Stephan Leitzinger, the maker of internationally-renowned Leitzinger bassoons and bocals, which you can now find in her shop.
